|| Rules and Regulations ||

-Shan’re lo dor Aman is situated on the Emerald Dream server of WoW. We are a hardcore roleplaying guild, looking to create an immersive rp environment for mature roleplayers.
Players are expected to actively create and participate in roleplay scenarios.

- Players are expected to be in character in public (/say and /yell) as well as on the guild channel. With the epic scale of the Warcraft world we would lose a great deal of our roleplaying if we limited it to face-to-face communication, so (icly) the guild members will all be given a gold medallion upon joining which allows them to communicate with their brethren over long distances.

- During those rare times when it becomes necessary to speak out of character, please indicate with brackets or OOC: before the message. Join the ooc channel for general ooc chitchat within the guild. The shanre ooc channel is optional and not all guild members may have it turned on, so things that must be discussed to all must be discussed in character.

- From time to time, roleplaying in parties can get difficult. Simply do your best to remain in character, especially if grouped with non-guildmembers!

- NO internet shorthand while roleplaying.
This includes lol, thanks, plz, u, ic, and any L337 speak!

- Please keep any cursing in character and reasonably family friendly.

- Harrassment and discrimination of any kind is not tolerated.

- Please remember that by purchasing this game, you agreed to all World of Warcraft policies.

- Any Shan're that have not at least signed their name to our roster do not move past the rank of Initiate. If they have not posted a character sheet, they do not move past the rank of Member. If they are a Veteran or above, then they are immediately demoted to the rank that is appropriate until they meet the above requirements, and must be an active member on our forums.

Explanation:
1) Initate: Must at least have their name on the Roster posted in the Hall (registered on the website).
2) Member: Must have recorded their name and provided a written history to the Council (registered on the website and have a character sheet posted on the forums)
3)Veteran: Must have recorded their name, provided a written history, and participated in discussions of the Council (registered on the website, provided a character sheet, and is active on the forums (posts at least once a week, if not more)

|| Applications ||

In order to be accepted into the Guild, applicants must:
- Contact a leader in game, who will schedule a few in character meetings
- Introduce yourself on the forums, optional yet highly valued.
- Read the Character's creation guidelines
- Create and submit a character sheet

In some circumstances, we may feel that an applicant may simply need a few suggestions in order to be approved. Some people are new to MMORPG or the Warcraft world, and we will do what we can to give you the resources you need to get to know the world of Azeroth, and the Shan’re lo dor Talah better. If your application is rejected, do not be discouraged. It may be that your character is simply better suited for a different guild, or you simply need to fix a few things in order to be approved.

If you have any questions about the application process, please do not hesitate to contact us at shanrelodoraman@gmail.com
